Some say that Elon Musk is always one step ahead. In reality, it seems that he has been ahead for many many years and this step is billions of kilometers away.
FACTS
X.com was originally used by Musk in 1999 for his online banking site, which eventually became PayPal. Musk then sold his PayPal shares along with that domain to eBay, only to buy it back 6 years ago, officially for sentimental reasons.
Since then, up until a few days ago, typing http://x.com you would have opened a page that only had the letter “x” at the top. Today, instead, you open up a platform as mysterious and promising as a promise made by Musk in 2001: to develop a better way to reach the space than that of the NASA – a promise kept by SpaceX, the most out of the box innovation of this millennium (for now!)
