Walk on beer? With Heineken it’s possible

By 23 August 2022November 29th, 2022No Comments

We use to say walking on water, on clouds, on eggs… walking on the moon, like Sting sang, but I think none of us have ever heard of “walking on beer”. With Heineken, however, we have to change our mind, because the innovativetive new product by the Dutch brand is actually sneakers with a sole full of amber liquid.

The idea was born thanks to the cooperation between Heineken and Dominic Ciambrone, famous designer of personalized shoes, known as “The Shoe Surgeon”, which has a large amount of followers on social networks also by celebrities. The sole seems to allow for an extraordinary experience, because the beer creates a soft friction during the walk, while the tongue has incorporated a bottle opener, because “you never know you will get thirsty on the way”. Unfortunately, for the moment, only 32 will be the lucky ones who will try – but not taste – this type of extraordinary shoe. In the future, who knows.

It is normal to ask ourselves, what to do once the shoes have had their day. Dismiss them or maybe recover the beer and say goodbye with a nice toast? Let’s leave to Heineken the arduous sentence…
